10 facts the Flag Sisters would like you to know . . .

  1. They were all born in 1977, so that makes them just 32 years young (so stop hurling those hurtful nasturtiums!)
  2. They were born on a Sunday on a television show in Rome, and their father was Renzo Arbore. So, yes, they are triplets.
  3. Their mother was only around long enough to deliver them. She apparently entered a convent shortly thereafter.
  4. Dorothy is a natural brunette, Petula a natural redhead, and Glenda a very natural blonde.
  5. Yes, they are still looking for husbands. Regrettably, each has been tragically unlucky in amore.
  6. Just because they're hostessing with AIR FLAG doesn't mean they're desperate, just optimistic.
  7. Yes, Size 10 is their dress size. Don't let your eyes fool you!
  8. No, there is not a plastic surgeon in Pisa who has grown rich on their character lines!
  9. Yes, they did host a telecast of the Miss Italy contest. Yes, they did entertain Giorgio Armani at his 50th birthday. Yes, they did cavort with Andy Warhol. Yes, they did star with Isabella Rossellini and Roberto Benigni on television and on the big screen. Yes, they did make a movie in which they were male spies pretending to be women, battling against female spies pretending to be men.
  10. No, they are not responsible for their many imitators on YouTube. No, they do not encourage people to sing "Fatti piu in la" at weddings (if they want to, that's their business). No, they cannot understand why so many men like to dress up as them and flaunt themselves in piazzas the length and bredth of Italy. No, it is definitely not true that Silvio Berlusconi proposed marriage to each of them!
